Adults are doing a lot of things right in developing young people, but we can do better. Positive youth development is everyone’s responsibility and requires reframing our views of youth and incorporating basic but important strategies to create healthy, caring, and responsible youth. Utilizing national and local research we can provides tools to help all members of a community to contribute to building young people’s social, emotional, and intrapersonal strengths. This is a dynamic, informative, and interactive session that provides participants with a renewed energy and commitment to support and develop youth.

To develop successful, healthy and responsible young people we can help you:

  • Reduce bullying to create positive climates of emotional and physical safety.

  • Incorporate youth as partners through positive youth development strategies such as the 5 Promises, Character Building (developed by the Positive Youth Development Project), Community Matters, Action for Youth, and other best practices.

  • Strengthen your organization, partnership, neighborhood association, or community.

  • By providing skilled facilitation, training, and planning assistance.

  • By working closely with you to customize training and services that achieve the greatest directed impact for you and your organization.
