But there are steps any school could take to increase the voice and morale of educators. Guest Deyonne Jackson explains what a Teacher Powered School can do for you and how to create one.
Deyonne Jackson is in her 15th year of teaching and has taught at traditional elementary and a teacher-powered school. She has been a teacher and administrative team member at Woods Learning Center (a teacher powered school) for 12 years. Deyonne is also an ambassador for the Teacher-Powered Schools Initiative.
