Energetic author Barbara Gruener shares her tips and practical ideas to weave empathy into the lives of young people and gives important advice regarding how we can express empathy for ourselves too. Barbara Gruener is an author, speaker, school counselor and character coach at Bales Intermediate in Friendswood, Texas. With 32 years of experience she has worked with every grade level, pre K-12th. Author of the “The Corner on Character” blog and the book, “What’s Under Your Cape? Superheroes of the Character Kind,” Barbara enjoys positively influencing change through her counseling, keynotes and workshops.
